Impressive!

Nice power band too.

What the turbo specs?

BeEatNU 01-12-2013 07:58 PM

what Dawg said...

kickergt 01-12-2013 08:04 PM

Its a china 50mm turbo 50 ar. T3. Tail 44mm wg

Blackdawg 01-12-2013 08:07 PM

Holy shit that's a small turbo.

Works though I guess.

What are you using for engine management? And fuel delivery?

kickergt 01-12-2013 08:08 PM

No need for a large one. The fuel system can't handle it

True.

Are you in stock fuel setup?? Any engine management at all??

kickergt 01-12-2013 08:22 PM

Focus fuel pump, vortec fmu , apex I safc

Huh interesting. Never heard if the vortec fmu. Looks interesting.

How are you a/f numbers?? Stock injectors? Which fmu is it?

so thats what, about 380hp and 440ftlbs at the crank!

Actually closer to 400hp at the crank..

kickergt 01-12-2013 08:40 PM

If its 25% drive train loss its more like 450 at the crank. I'm still running stock injectors. The vortec flu is a thing that just bumps up fuel pressure under boost. Its a crutch but works.

Yea it's not ideal..but can't beat it. Is it the 12:1?

no your math is wrong. at a 25% loss your around 393.75hp at the crank with your given numbers. torque would be up there though.

in the end though it is just an estimate ;)

What?? No..your math is wrong..haha your an engineering student right?? Lol

kickergt 01-12-2013 09:12 PM

It boogys for sure. Time to take it back to the beach and go d max hunting lol

What? :der:

Blackdawg 01-12-2013 09:26 PM

Diesels..aren't fast

Trucks..aren't fast.

Want to go fast..get a car.

The power of this would be nice for my heavy ass rig though...

There's a guy here who has a tuned ford 6.0 that runs off some type of propane that runs 8's at the drag strip

kickergt 01-12-2013 09:59 PM

If you can go 6.00 ish in the 300ft in the sand you are moving right along. See its fun to fuck with the diesel guys because they never expect a yota to drag that ass. Most people dont understand power to weight ratios and what functional power is. Plus its fun to hustle some cash out of them.
