Jerking

Today I was traveling in my Tacoma and it started jerking pretty bad. I don't know if it was missing or what but I felt the jerk. Do you know what it could be? I'm not sure if the spark plugs need to be replaced or what.

Is it a manual, were you in a really high gear going very slow?

 

No its not a manual, its automatic

 

Were you in 4-wheel? It could be the plugs or a dirty air filter...in other words, something possibly causing a lean misfire. Can you better describe the driving conditions? (e.g. accelerating, slowing down, turning, etc)

 

It seemed like when I was going up a hill that it started doing it the worst. Also I don't notice it going 45 or below. When I hit around 55 it seems like that's when it starts.
