changing struts

I had a bad accident today at work while taking apart a strut. Not quite sure what happened, but the spring came out of the compressor and hit me right above my right eye. Tons of swelling, and 40ish stitches and im home to tell you all to PLEASE be careful if changing struts. I got EXTREMELY lucky and had safety glasses on that did there job. I still have my eye thanks to them. Just please PLEASE be careful if/when changing struts.

Wow! That sucks. I guess you were pretty lucky considering the alternatives. Hope you have a fast recovery.

What kind of compressor were you using?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Glad you're ok. I hope your job won't make you compress any more of those springs. What kind of compressor were you using?
