Window Peeling?

So I guess I want to finally ask about my window issue. I've attached a photo and it's the only door that is having the issue. I noticed it only a few months ago.

First,

This is post 666 for me! Woot!

Ok, yeah, this is common. I replaced the ones on my 2001 Xcab, and many others have too. It is actually very thin rubber over aluminum, and I think the rubber is just so thin that it cooks through pretty easily.

It is called "weatherstrip."

Easy replacement, at least for the front doors.

About $30 each at my local dealer.

See post #13 in this thread for more info:

My 96 did that on the back glass! Tape it up really good, put news paper all around it. Then get some spray paint, and spray a few coats. I found that it sticks and looks better if you sand off all the black and then spray everything!
