Is the 3RZ cyl head prone to cracking? Mine's cracked, and the engine was never overheated.

And, is there an aftermarket 3RZ cyl head? The shop I'm working with says $650 for a bare aftermarket head that's supposed to be better.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

I havent heard of them craking. Maybe once in a while. But I dont think its an epidemic. Check out LCE for parts, or a complete head. :)

Paradise Racing can probably also get you some good parts.

the 3RZ's are not typically prone to problems like this.

Japan Engines (japanengine.com) sells a new, complete, aftermarket 3RZ cyl head for $450.

    Thanks,
    Kurt
