They are brand new in the box and are being sold through the dealership I work for in Northern Virginia. I think and do not quote me on this it's been factored in at about 20-25 dollars per wheel to ship. Aside from those wheels I have nothing else available other than some other factory wheels.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

Try cleaning the MAF for the 171 code. The AFR may also be going bad. The 420 code maybe just from the 171 code popping.

You need a new catalyst converter, that is your P0420 code. You can try but I doubt if it will help and replace your mass air flow sensor first being the cheaper of the 2. Chances are you had the P0171 code first and did not replace the mass air flow sensor and with the vehicle running lean it richened your fuel which in turn burnt up your catalyst converter. You will most likey have tp replace both, I am about 98% certain of that. How long has your check engine light been on? And how long after it first came on did you wait until it started running bad? Alot of people will think that they do not need to fix anything because it runs fine for awhile and then it causes other damage. Bottom line it looks like a cat and MAF are going to have to be replaced.

It runs fine... The light was on when I got the truck about 1 month ago. I may go ahead and replace the MAF sensor if cleaning don't work but I doubt I'll spend the money on a new converter, hell I use to cut those things out when I put exhaust on my trucks.

As long as you do not live where emmissions are required that will work. MAF should take care of your stumbling issue though.

Hey guys, I'm new to this site, and happend to stumble onto your thread. I'm having issues with my 98 Tacoma V6 2wd. Engine light. I did a post a little bit ago under CarpenterGirl with the full run down.

Basically truck won't pass smog. Guy suggested go to my mechanic and run codes. Mechanic ran codes, came up with both knock sensors malfunctioning. My mechanic changed both and harness after finding an arcing short and siliconed sensors and gaskets. Also changed cat converter. Still runs same codes though. Gave truck to him again, he found timing belt off by a degree and corrected. Also checked all wires around there and fixed or strapped down things. Still same code. He's thinking ECU. But second opinion from dealer $115, says computer is fine. Options? Ideas? Truck is bone stock. Your MAF sensor idea has me intrigued. I'm gonna change that today I think.
