1999 TRD Brake Pads

Does anyone know if the TRD package put better front pads on the brakes?

If you can get a copy of Feb or Mar, Car and Driver where they did a road test of a Taco, they did mention a better brake(street)pad by an outfit in Canada. I forget the name, however. Perhaps they would have a application for you? By the way how many miles did you get out of the current pads?
