I have a '95 Toyota Extended cab V6 automatic with 291,000 miles on it. Besides changing timing belts, a lower ball joint and fluids, it's pretty much the same as the day I bought it. However, the other day I tried to set my cruise control and it wouldn't work. The cruise control light comes on but it will not engage. I also noticed that my display light on my shift indicator quit working. Realizing that these things happened simultaneously, I assumed it was a fuse. Referring to the shop manual, I check all the fuses that could possibly have anything to do with it and they were all fine. One of the larger fuses under the hood labeled "ALT" I just checked visually without removing it and it appeared to be fine.

Anyone out there have any idea what I need to do to fix this problem? Thanks for the great board.
