I'm helping a friend rebuild a 4-cylinder, and we've purchased the main bearings to replace the scored ones we removed. Has anyone ever come across this- the first bearing where the main seal is appears really cloudy and strange- NAPA says this is normal and none of the other bearings appear this way. The rest are very shiny as expected, but this one almost appears rough. Any thoughts?
