1996 2.7l....Seems to run better when cold or let it rest. If I drive for 20 or 30 minutes straight it starts falling on its face and stubbling at partial throttle and will clear up at full throttle.

Any ideas? Think I might try and replace the vac lines tomorrow.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Your AFR sensor is shot. That's the 135 code. The 402 is the EGR system. It is more than likely a result of the AFR malfunctioning.

Thanks..... Is there any way to test it? Or just buy one and put it in?

You can check the resistance of the heater, but that's about it unless you have access to an advanced scanner like the dealers have.

I have just replaced the AFR sensor within the last year but I put in a new header recently and some one in town here told me if I put it in wrong it could burn it up quick. Is there any truth to that? I will check the resistance today. Thx

Only way to "Put it in wrong" is to have leaks....Headers only can fit one way....
