as the titile states, its squeals even louder when its cold outside, the squeal goes away after the truck is warmed up tho. not sure if its the fan belts or what

Before you start your truck, get a small cup of water and open your hood. Start the truck and when you hear the squeal, pour a little water on the belt. The noise should go away if it is the belt.

I have this problem too, belts replaced 3 months ago. Thought about the water spray, but the squeal lasts about 2-3 seconds then goes away. Even after running for a while, engine hot, turn the truck off, then back on, it will still squeal for a few seconds, then goes away. This only happens during when starting.
