anyone with a/c problems

I got a 2006 DC w/ the 4.0 with 34,xxx miles on it. after my truck is sitting for probably more than 5 hours and i turn on the A/C, it makes a loud clunk when clutch engages. Has anyone else had this experience, if so i need to get it fixed b4 my warantee runs out.

will a stealership cover it? or am i sol once it does actually freeze up?
