Loud squeaks

So when I put reverse on my Taco it starts doing a loud squeaking sound.

About 6 months ago I changed the front U-Joint. I just checked yesterday for any movement or damage in the U-Joints and they seem fine. There is no rattle whatsoever.

Any idea what this sound could be?

Its a weird sound because it doesn't always happen under the same circumstances. For example, I can put it on neutral and let it go and it might squeak sometimes and others not. It does squeak every time I use gas however. Bare in mind, it only does this in reverse, never in drive.

If you think its a U-Joint, please tell me how I can check, because I have checked and so far it doesn't look like it is that.

Update... perhaps someone can chime in now with info after this.

I loaded the truck with about 700 lb of weight. It stopped doing the sound in reverse but now it sometimes revs as if it was idling while driving, it doesnt go up a lot in RPM, its just that it doesn't feel like its actually applying more power. Also, sometimes it takes a bit for it to go down from 40mph. Could my tranny be slipping? Please say it isn't so.

 

Also... I am not sure if this truck for the transmission TSB, if it even applied to this one anyhow.

Could the ECU flash they need to do for Recall fix this?

 

Ok... well no responses is always good to look at.

Still, I found out what was causing it. I didnt notice that I was putting a lot more weight on one side of the truck, than on the other. This for some reason created all these problems. Truck is fine now, even while putting excessive weight in the bed.

 

It could be your carrier bearing dude...not sure though
