check engine light

guys just had a new kenwood head unit installed,with back up cam a little while after i left the installer the check engone light came on. my question is could somthing in the install caused this? should i talk to the installer about this? or just go straight to the dealer...it is an 08 tacoma with 600mi. on it. gonna get it looked at eaither way just looking for some thoughts from the experts,,, thanks in advance for any comments1!! the head unit is kenwood dnx5120, this thing is real cool, i like it alot, and it seems to run fine..

gonna give myself abump before i leave wont have time to bring it in untill tommorw, and it does seem yo run fine....would love to hear some thoughts on the matter...will check back later....thanksw, rob...

Find someone who has a code reader....Go to AutoZone or whatever and find out what is throwing the code to start with.

Then decide who to talk to about it.
