3RZ drive belt tension info

Hi,
I'm looking for drive belt installation info that shows what amount of deflection they should have. I'm not finding the info in the online manuals. It's for a 3RZ engine with A/C and P/S, so there are 3 belts.

Take this for what its worth - I'm not a mechanic.

They should twist to be perpendicular to its original position.

 

I'm not sure if what you're saying applies to what I'm asking, and what I'm used to. I'm asking for the deflection, which is the distance you can push the belt when pushing halfway between the pulleys.

Take your finger & thumb and grad the edges of the belt. Twist.....
The rule of thumb is it shouldn't go past perpendicular to its original location. If it goes past that point, it needs to be tightened.
Each accessory belt has an adjusting point.

These are V belts. If they aren't kept tight, they'll slip. As long as you can keep adjusting the tension, you're good. If you've reached the Maxium adjustment - then its time to replace the belt.
