Ok Ive got a question for you.

when I accelerate it seams to missfire above two grand. Heres the weird part no engine coads or check engine lights coming on. Already changed plugs.

    Ideas?

I am not sure I am following you. Are you saying that when you press the gas sometimes the RPM's go up but the truck's speed does not. It only last for a few seconds then the truck goes?

    I would check to start:

    Air filter
    Fuel injectors
    Spark plug wires
    Fuel filter
    MAFS
    Bad gas

This happened in my car '01 Grand Am, it would hesitate off and on when climbing a grade. It clears up when I fill the tank with the Shell or Mobil 93 octane gas.

mine has a similar problem. its very irregular but at 3000rpm it drops to idle for a few seconds, then jumps right back to where it should be. ive had it in a couple shops and no one can figure it out. ? still trying to find a solution.

The RPM's do not drop and the air filter is new

I have done plugs so next will be trying 93 oct if that doesnt work I am planning on a fuel filter.

The shop said there was nothing wrong with it
