Anyone know of a shop that can tune my antenna once I install? Don't really want to buy the swr meter but I suppose I might have to.

Or anyone near me that can help me with their meter?
    Location is Visalia, CA 93277.

Thanks guys and if anyone has knowledge of running the coax (which I know you guys do), I have a 20' coax and I was wondering if it is better to leave it coiled or run the whole 20' thought the cab since I have it gutted right now. I ask because I read somewhere that if you leave the coax coiled up it can lead to reception issues.

    Thanks guys.

Don't leave it coiled to tightly loose underseat or somewhere will not hurt output, use low power and key up if no problems slowly increase output if u can be heard and receive well u will be all right alot of radios will go to low power if swrs are high. im from pa most cb shops can check swrs.

I was just up in fresno for the holidays and did my CB install...dont know how long you can wait but im always up in fresno and can bring up my SWR meter whenever i go..

or you could call these guys up and see what they could do for you. i was looking for a place in the central valley too but just decided to get an SWR meter.

    heres the link: http://www.redmonkeycb.com/

as for the coax cable i had an 18' and i used that sucker all up just ran the whole thing through the cab: from the back of my toolbox, under the cab through the rubber gromet(located under the drivers side) along the driver side door to where my stereo is. might be different for the 2nd gen though.

    Thanks for the tips guys.

JBLAZE how often do you head up to fresno? I should have everything ready to install by next week so I think I might buy myself a SWR meter...I guess I could use it if I ever get a different antenna or to help other members in the valley.
