Just got my truck back from oil change. I usually do it myself. But I had a noise coming from front I've been trying to figure out. So i figured I'd let them do it while they tried finding where noise is coming from.

It seams according to them my left front hub bearing is bad. He said " that's the growl I'm hearing from front". And to be honest I've never noticed a growl but a weird ticking/clicking noise. That was my reason for taking to professionals. Could this click/tick be a hub bearing it seams to be coming from front of vehical? Anyone have same issue before bearing replaced? Any help appreciated.

I have a clicking sound on both sides when the wheels are off the ground and the suspension is drooped. When I spin the wheels by hand, I hear a clicking sound. It's not a grinding noise though.

I don't hear any clicking or grinding when turning when the wheels are on the ground. And I don't have any play in my front wheels when I try to wiggle left/right or up/down.

Did the new bearing fix the issue?

Not sure yet calling Toyota to see what it cost tomorrow for new one. I've never herd growl either guy at tirekingdom said he did and it was probably left front hub bearing. And when fronts lifted off ground I had no play either. But never thought about spinning wheel to. I'll let you know when I take it to Toyota what they say. The click is annoying when driving and sounds horrible. Like something is about to snap or break.

Right on keep us posted. I definitely don't have a loud click while driving, but its good to know that it could be a pointer upwards a bad bearing.

Well called Toyota and they quoted 190 in parts. Because the don't sell hub assembled for easier instillation because then they wouldn't make money. And no one around me will press bearings because parts weren't ordered from them. So looks like I have to pay Toyota 650$ for parts and installation. If not I'm afraid my wheels gunna fall off.
Edit- friend I work withs friend said he'd do it for 100$ if I got parts. Hell yea
