I was installing a Pilot halogen back-up light kit on my 09. Followed instructions, well sort of, and when powered up, no light. I started at the back-up light tap, got power, then behind the fuse, got power, then at the first lamp, no got power. Stuck circuit probe into wire and accidently grounded it out. Killed the back up lights and the reverse was locked out. So I repalced the 10 amp fuse and got my reverse lock-out solved. However, now the check engine light and skid lights are lit up. Wha happened? tThe trucks still in warranty but afraid if I confess to tampering with the electrical they may claim I violated the warranty.

Is there a relay or fuse I'm over looking, perhaps a reset? Any ideas as to why I'm not getting light?
