lately ive been noticing my fuel gauge fluctuating i.e i have more that half a tank but then will drop down to less than half but then go back up to its original spot. But today it was real bad i have more than half a tank but the needle dropped down dramatically to E it stayed down there for awhile till it finally when back to where it was originally.

My question to everyone is has this ever happened to anyone if so how can i go about fixing this problem or what can i look for to fix this problem. Any help will be much appreciated thanks.
