Rear Bumper

I just pulled the rear bumper on my 2010 Tacoma yesterday. Its not really too bad to complete. If you have the plastic steps on the bumper be careful as they will break very easily, no need to remove the plastic overlays on the corners of the bumper. In all there is about 10 bolts 10mm in size that need to be removed. If you have a trailer hitch add another 2 19mm bolts to that. You need to carefully remove the plastic steps and then remove the 6 bolts undreneath and then remove the 4 bolts from the bottom and pull the bumper back slowly and then remove the license plate lights by turning 1/4 turn.
