    Hey I have a 91 toyota v6 pickup with 5 lug nuts.

My friend has new tires on larger rims than oem. I would need a lift kit to make them fit. Not much of a lift, just a few inches.

Also, the rims are 6 lug nut, and mine are 5 lug nut. How would I get my 5 lug truck to 6 lug?

and also, what is a vague estimate for a few inch lift? Assuming I did the work myself. I'm not thinking anything fancy, just enough to make the rims fit.

    Thanks!

What's your purpose in the conversion? If it's specifically to fit these wheels and tires, skip it. It'd be cheaper to buy new tires.

If you have another motivation, I'd like to hear it. :)

I just got a new set of six bolt rims, since my snow tires were five bolt for a different truck. $320 for new rims, $50 for the shop to swap them over, old rims are being sold for $250...
