Anyone got an under hood welder? Mobi Arc?

    Was wondering if anyone had any experience with mobi-arc under hood welders.

    Seems like an easy little thing.. worry about putting stuff like that on a modern vehicle though. Also, how sucky does it weld? Super sucky or passable sucky?

    This is the best one I know about http://www.premierpowerwelder.com It actually works pretty well although you have keep your idle a little higher for optimum results.

    well that needs a second alty .. the cheap one doesnt.

    True but with this one you can pretty much weld anything that breaks on your truck-its a trade off as usual with portability
