    Hi Folks,
I have a 1989 Pre-runner, 6 cyl. that I love but lately the check engine light keeps comming on. I've taken it to my mechanic twice now and both times get the : PO 441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow- reading. I've got a great mechanic who wants to save me money by pointing me to this chat room. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? I've taken the gas cap off a dozen times, worn out a boot kicking the tires, and cussed a few words I didn't know I knew. Yet, the damn check engine light stays on.

Thanks in advance for any help.
