I was driving back from Myrtle Beach the other day and decided it really bothered me that my drivers side window is automatic and my passengers side is not. So I have to tap the drivers side and hold the passengers side to make both windows go down. Could I just swap the pass. side switch with an auto one so I could tap both and they would go down? Like a Chevy or GMC...

I just recently sold my 2000 VW Jetta, which had auto up, and down on both windows... i guess it's a good thing when its one of only 2 things i miss, the other being heated mirrors

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
i tried to tackle this a long time ago with my 08. I tried every combination of rewiring, relays, etc. Ended up buying a unit that allowed me to do all four windows. Hated how it works and got rid of it. Ended up just getting used to holding the switch
