I filled the truck the other day and the gas gauge has not moved off full? Short of a small "gas reproducing in my tank miracle", I think it's stuck.

I pulled the fuse for the gauges and the needle does not drop. Anyone know how to check or fix it???????????????????

I beat on the dash and that didn't work

Blessed be the man with the always full tank. Sounds like a number of things, all of which require a shop to look at. Wish it was true, that you didn't have to refill again......but you couldn't be that lucky

What year is your truck? Also, I4 or V6? Hard to determine what the problem is if details are lacking. Kind of like a surgeon giving directions via phone for heart surgery, if you know what I mean. Could be related to the fuel tank, could be a short from the fuel tank to the gauge. Could be a gauge that has simply gone to a better place (it's dead).
