Blacked out badges-rims OME lift with 881's & dakar pacs, summer tires=BFG 31x10.5x15 on 93 4runner rims, winter= 265 75 16 DURATRACS on stock steelies,Flowmaster exhaust, deck plate mod, ARB front bumper
My dealer has done 2 oil changes on my 01 2.7L taco.

1st change they used OEM filter # 90915-YZZD1...which I belive is the correct filter.(shorter)

2nd change they used OEM filter # 90915-YZZD3...longer filter(this one is also used on my 06 4.7L Tundra

Today I picked up filter and gasket to do my own change and they gave me the 90915-YZZD1

Both are the same price..$6.30......Would it be better for me to use the larger (D3) filter for extra protection=more element material?

    Thanks for any opinions!
