    Hey everyone,

I'm brand new to this forum, in my air conditioning unit, there are 2 light filaments and 2 LEDs, one of the light filaments are burnt out. I wanna replace the 2 light filaments with 2 white LEDs. Does anyone know if there is a schematic for the PCB for this, or the supply voltage to the light filament? I'm wondering if I could simply solder a series resistor to the anode of the LED and to the supply side (assuming its +12V) and the cathode to the ground side (assuming thats the other side of the light filament (2 pins)). Has anyone tried this?

    Thanks in advance guys.

I know there was talk about swapping out the led colors, but I haven't heard of replacing the bulbs. When you do it, make sure to take some pictures.

yeah, replacing the colors would simply require desoldering the existing 2 LEDs and replacing them with new ones, assuming they are of the same voltage. varying voltage LEDs would require changing the series resistors coupled to them. THanks for the reply, I will start measuring voltages on ohming out traces on the board to find out if one side of the light is 12V and the other side is ground.
