Power steering and Engine coolant flush

Were always concerned about changing the plugs, oil, filters, tranny, an diff fluid BUT what about the engine coolant and powersteering fluids. Those two never get that much attention. How many of you have included this in your Maint Sched's and what type of fluids did you use? Thanks.

I changed them both on my truck around 100k. I've got a 4 banger so the scheduled maintenance might be different for the 4.0.

I drained the coolant from the radiator and the engine block. Then used Toyota long life coolant (the stuff specified in my manual) to refill.

For the power steering, I followed a write up someone did on here. I flushed out the old fluid and used some AMSoil ATF to refill. I used the AMSoil because that's what I had on hand and it should do the job just fine. I think the manual says that ATF is okay to use, can't remember exactly what is specified though.

I flush the coolant in my veh. the newer toyotas use the ultra long life coolent so I flush around 100,000. I use the pink zerex "Asian car formula". I've only found it premixed at 50/50. I'm not sure why they don't sell it straight.

I have never flushed a power steering system.

would the toyota ATF IV tranny fluid work for the power steering since it asks for ATF dexron?
