ABS Kill Switch Q's

I was perusing the site and found a nice thread on an ABS kill switch. I like the idea and definitely want the same result. However, the thread mentioned that the switch disrupts the ground to the ABS ECU thus fooling it into thinking the locker is activated. I have a regular cab 4 banger w/o locker. Has anyone done this on a similar truck? I wished I opted for the locker when I purchased...
