Dash rattles.........

I have an idea on how to fix dash rattles. Since I have aired out my Tacoma a few times, the dash is developing some rattles. No biggie, but an anoyance none the less. I was thinking about spraying some expanding insulation in the dash in some key areas. Any thoughts on doing this? Could it hurt any electronics?
Thanks, all!

i dont see any issues with it...unless you just decide to coat a heat sink on the back of your stereo or something

i would imagine the places youre planning on putting it wouldnt have a whole lot of wiring hanging out

might have a strong chemical smell for a while?
and wonder if it could inter react with all the plastic?

and worse case, if it made it worse in spots how would you remove it?
just a couple of random thoughts, might or might not be valid

Chris.....sounds like an idea that could work man. here is another idea i used on our honda accord that would have occasional dash rattles.........i cut a few pieces of thick rubber strips(i actually used a cheap rubber floormat),then i bent them and pushed them into the corners of the dash so that they were outta sight, and they keep the dash pretty quiet now too...no more rattles. just a thought.

Thats what I have Absorball for. But you have some good points on if it makes things worse.

I have tried. The rattles are IN the dash somewhere.

This is what I have been doing. I have also jumped it a few more times with the hope of things going back into place. It didnt work.

I have thought about the Dynomat, but I dont want to tear into my dash to put it everywhere. I guess I caould tear into it and actually FIX the problem, but the easy method is what Im seeking.
