What if... Aftermarket LSD and TRAC

Someone out there probably can answer this. Has anyone installed an aftermarket LSD or Powertrax LSD (rear) on a 2nd Gen 4X4 with TRAC? Did it have any effect? I wouldn't think so, but I'm just comtemplting the what-ifs before I buy a new Tacoma this year.

It shouldn't have any effect since TRAC is a function of the brakes, not the diff.

 

TRAC slows tires that spin needlessly to divert power to the traction tires... If a limited slip differential beats the TRAC to the job, then TRAC won't sense any slipping.

 

Thanks for the responses. I might end up with an SR5 /6 speed, so i was curious.

 

My only concern would be trying to understand which one is going to react quicker, or worse, at the same time. Wouldn't want the electronic and mechanical systems to start fighting each other for slip control.
