93 4x4 engine swap

alright guys, i've got a 93 single cab 4x4 that has been sitting around the garage with tons of engine problems.. wiring, low compression, MILES UP THE YING YANG!! and the list just goes on. my older brother has owned it since 95 and the truck has been almost all over the state of texas. we're all chevy/toyota guys in our family and seeing as how i've got a few chevy small blocks laying around, i was wondering on how difficult it would be to fit just a simple 283 sbc in it? i know there will have to be some cutting and massaging to fit it in but what i'm wondering is, are there any sites that sell any kits for such a swap or would i have to fab everything for it i'd really appreciate any feed back

just drop the engine off the local machine shop for a rebuilt...or, simply adjust the valves...
