wiring trailer lights
I read somewhere that the Tacoma (I have the 06) has the trailer wires run to the middle of the truck????
What does it take to hook into these if this is so???? If this is false what can I do....go to autopart store and purchase??? thanks in advance |

Well I installed the Toyota towing package to my 03 taco and the harness (converter wire harness) they gave me plugs into a master plug under the drivers seat then goes to the converter, the 2nd harness (sub-wire harness) from converter to the hitch plug. Hopes this helps.

Toyota has a wiring harness that plugs in back of the fuse box located drivers side kick panel. Plug n play type thing. You will have to run the wires to the rear.
