I checked this site a few days ago and saw a reference for the overhead accessary panel on the TRD Tacoma (mine is inop) but don't see it today. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to check the pins that plug into the circuit board. I want to know if it's actually getting power.
Can I buy the circiut board by itself?
Any other info about the panel would be welcome.

Here is a site I found when I was looking for information when buying my Tacoma.

The specifications of all the models I thought could be useful.

    http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1995-to-2004-toyota-tacoma-5.htm

I was so set on what I wanted my truck to look like, that I never noticed their picture gallery before.... 6 thru 10??? WTF??

I liked reading about the trucks evolution too... stuff I didn't know!

Auto or standard? Auto is usually through the dipstick for the transmission, manual is usually a drain bolt on the tranny. (I say "usually", because I haven't had to do it on my Tacoma, but I've done it on hundreds of other cars).

Has anybody done a gray wire mod on a 2013 Tacoma? Just installed 4.7 crawler box, and would like to be able to turn the locker on when in high 4 wd, and just using the crawler box.

There isn't a gray wire mod for 2nd gens, but search locker anytime mod for a way to do that, don't have the link off hand.

Hey guys idk if this belongs here but anyone know where to find a replacement bolt for my truck, it's one of the two behind the taillight where a CB radio antenna mount goes and I tightend it too much and it snapped and I can't seem to get the right size, not 1/4 standard nor 6 metric or 5metric. The 6 was slightly too big and the 5 slightly too small
