I've got my seats torn apart. Putting new leather on and heated seat option. How in world did you guys (especially with flat-folding seats) wire from seat upper heating pad to the floor?

It seems there isn't a good way to run the wire without it showing big-time. Flat folding seat requires more slack on wires too, so they show even more. Did anyone get gutsy and wire it through the reclining mechanics of the seat? I can't imagine that being safe. lol

Black wire loom might make it look a little neater.

I ended up rigging something that I felt safe with. Attached a small bungee cord under the front of seat that is barely taught while seat is at normal "L" position. This prevents "extra" wire from being loose and potentially get caught up by something (or someone in rear seats). When seat folds forward, it pulls bungee and keeps it taught, but not too taught. Best I could come up with.

Now if only I could pick someone's brains about how to wire it all up.
Where should I connect power for each seat? Needs to be ignition controlled (only can be on when vehicle ignition is on) Do i need to add a circuit for this near kick panel or what?
