I have a 1995 tacoma with about 198k miles that developed a fuel leak over the last week. I drove the truck last saturday to get gas for mowing, and I noticed a fuel smell this week. I though maybe some gas leaked in the bed while driving, then I realized it was leaking from the tank. I removed the gas cap, and the leak stopped, after the pressure in the tank was released. I started the truck today while looking and gas is squirting out of the fuel pump area. The truck runs fine so I was thinking it was maybe a loose connection somewhere in the fuel line. Is there a common problem that occurs on these trucks that I can fix without dropping the tank. Of course the tank is 3/4 full.

    thanks in advance
