I have an 08 double cab 4X4 and have a growl coming from the front end I believe. I rotated the tires changed oil and diff fluids, greased drive shaft. CV joint boots are in good shape. Put front end up and it seems tight, I couldnt get front tires to wiggle (checking bearings). I do think the carrier bearing on the drive shaft is worn. It is definately in the drive system and not the motor as it does it when ¥ou are coasting etc. any body else have this problem or know what it might be. Thanks in advance.
