Thoughts on the Budbuilt Traction Bar???

Are they worth $465.00 ???

It looks like a badass solution to axle wrap...

Anyone???

 

I've heard from one guy with one installed.

Said it did it's job but took some modification to get it to mount.

Personally, you could probably have a custom unit fabbed for less than $465. That said, I'm sure it's a good product. BB makes good stuff.

 

Work well as a driveshaft slider in addition to deleting axle wrap.Kinda spendy.

 

Good luck actually getting one as well. Been waiting on mine for over 2 months now and its fully paid for...

 

I was never a fan of how they mounted to the diff.

 

Since your picture didn`t work I looked at some online pictures

It reminds me of what we used to run on our muscle cars back in the early seventies

Just mounts in a rather strange way

I can understand the mounting wanting to not impact the ground clearance

Bud Built does build good products for those that can`t do for themselves

That is a tad pricey I think something could be built much cheaper with some thought

FWIW - I looked at Bud Built, Cal Trac and other universal traction applications before "custom crafting" a set of contact bars for my 2015 Sport. I might have 25 bucks wrapped up in materials, and they are fully adjustable.

 

For the money you can consider SUA.
