disabling alarm ?

How do you turn off the stock alarm on a 98 tacoma.... it goes off all the time for no reason

yesterday my brother calls me and says do you hear that.... hmmm yes it was my alarm going off and the keys r needed to turn it off and oh yea i had them!!!! I had to have y friend drive all the way back to my house to turn it off

this is the only thing i hate about this truck

If it is a factory alarm installed by the dealer it should be a model
RS3000 VIP here is a link to the manual for it might have what
you are looking for.

I have the book for it but i couldent find anything on how to shut it off err. And when i got the truck i never got a remote, am i supposed to have one?

When the alarm system was installed it should have came with
2 remotes.

I finnaly took the time to go to the stealership and i ordered a remote... $50.03... Now does this remote have lock/unlock and panic.... or what?
