Manual tranny oil.....

I have heard that by putting a high grade synthetic oil in you transmission that it will shift smoother especially in very cold temperatures. I was wondering if anybody has done this?..... And if so is it worth it???

I use Mobil 1 in all my manual trannies (eccept my Dodge which takes AUTO tranny fluid in its manual

) and have had good luck with it. Makes the tranny less notchy.

Yeah thats what I hear! and i noticed in the recent cold weather that mine shifts rough till it warms up...

I know the 5 speed I had behind my 2.7 REALLY liked the Mobil 1. Give it a shot.
