Transmission oil

Need help, I remove the wrong plug to change engine oil and remove about 1.5 qt of Transmission fluid. What should I do.?

 

Get a tow to a dealership and get them to replace the fluid?

 

ether do what Brunes said and get a tow.. or look up the writeup on how to drain and fill autotrans fluid... have someone drive you(not in your truck) and pick up the required amount of fluid... fill it yourself... BUT i heard its tough to check if you have the right about of fluid somekind of temp check is needed right guys??

 

If the tranny fluid is in a clean container, just put back in what came out. That will get you functioning again, then you need to decide if you want to check the fluid level the right way.

Go buy 2 quarts of transmission fluid, check your owner's manual for the type of fluid. Pour in 1.5 quarts, check the transmission dip stick, to see that you added enough. and your good to go.
