Stability Control locks up front tires around corner

I have an 08 Taco with a 6" Procomp lift with 35" and the stability control will randomly lock up the front tires around corners, if i press the button on the dash (car with squiggly lines under it) it just turns a light on on the dash and says auto LSD, but that seems to make it worse. Does anyone know how to completely disable the stability control, which wires to cut or fuse to pull. I would like to have it always off so there is on chance that it will ever turn on. The toyota dealer said there is no way to do it, but i think they were just trying to cover their asses for legal reasons.

don't know if they're the same, ( i have no safety nannies on my '06) but on the new tundras you push the squiggly line button, then push it again & hold it for a little bit...maybe 4-5 seconds to disable ALL traction and stability controls. give it a try. there should be an indicator in the instrument panel that lights up if it works. only bad part is...you will have to do this every time you start up.

Hey thanks, it actually worked. I tried holding it in for a few seconds before, but never pushing it first. I should have paid more attension to the stability control before I bought the truck

so what happens when you push and hold the button? does it just turn off the traction control or whatever it is so you can burn out and it wont correct it or what?

Yeah this actually works, all you have to do is hold the button for 5 - 10 seconds, but you have to be in Park to turn it totally off, I haven't figured out how to do it on the fly which really sucks. I was able to burn off the tires and put it sideways with out it beeping at me
