Does factory tinting block UV rays?

    Anybody know if the factory tint in rear windows blocks UV??

    From what I understand, glass in general blocks UV.

    Yup....all the new cars have this, even when the window is not tinted. This is why my transition lens glasses never darken when driving in the car, even with the sun in my eyes.....major pain in the ass. :mad:
