My wipers are really messed up. They work perfectly fine, all three settings and the delay knob, untill the underside of the truck gets wet. At that point the wipers will come on on the medium setting. I can turn them to full speed if i want, but there is no way to turn them off. even in the off position they run at medium. Pulling the fuse at 120 km/hr is not fun.
Secondly, my wiper fluid pump is really messed up. When i push my squirts button, the wiper blades perform their normal task of 3 or 4 wipes, but no fluid comes out. I have replaced the pump, still nothing, not even a noise.
Winters coming and I really need to figure this out. My guess is my wiring's all screwed but im hoping someone may have another, less painful suggestion?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Sounds like you have a short in the harness somewhere. Trace it back from both the wiper motor and the pump motor. You are looking for exposed wires. Be careful as one of them will be hot.
