    Just turned 116K and started hearing engine knock on cool mornings at low RPM's sound quickly ends upond short warm up - repair guy says "its a rod" and need to rebuild or replace engine - thoughts?

    33" falken rocky mountian A/T, 3.5" fabtech lift, Deck plate mod, Painted badges.
    could be a bent connecting rod, that could make the piston skirt slap the side of the cylinder wall. take it to a trusted engine mechanic and have them take a look at it. better sooner than later
