Want to paint my tool box, recommendations?

Whats up all I'm wanting to paint my tool box black, The truck came will a real nice box when I bought it. Not sure if its reasonable to just paint it black or to just sell it and buy another one. Let me know what ya think as far a route to take or recommendations for paint.
Thanks-Adam

I blasted mine with steel shot lightly and painted it with enamel, it's lasted about 8 months so far, it really up to you though. It can be done either way, if you need any more info ask me

I want to do my toolbox (inside and out) and the bed of my truck. If I do spray cans I'm looking at about 8 bucks per can. And I hear it's about 1 can per foot of bed you have. So I'm looking at probably 60 bucks worth of spray cans. I was thinking about getting this gun (Dad's pretty much got an auto body paint shop in his garage)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/UNDERCOATING...4032%26ps%3D54

And whatever bedliner I can find that would work...

Hoping to save a few bucks along with getting a better coat and having more pressure (Getting done quicker) due to the big ass compressor in dad's garage..

Thoughts

Edit: Just found a kit with that gun. Comes with bedliner as well, 109.99.... Is it better to just buy 6 or 7 cans?

I used rustoleum roll on bediner. I got the spray can for touch-ups. I sanded the hell out of it, cleaned it with brake cleaner and isopropyl alcohol. 2 cans primer (self etching and automotive) then 5 coats of the roll on and is holding up pretty strong. Prep is key to getting the paint to adhere properly. It came out awesome and seems real durable.

If you want the super easy route, Rustoleum spray can bedliner, 8 bucks a can at Walmart; it is very forgiving and looks great for the price.
