i use a hanger or the best thing is the wire handle from a five gal bucket. bend a hook get your knife and stick in the lower portion of your rear sliding( not bottom) window. stick the wire and minippulate the lock. take deep breaths and dont get frustrated. push in on the sliding window and in the direction to open it . youll get it. not that hard but it takes patience. good luck. :locked:

You can buy a "slim jim" kit at Harbor Freight...which has directions on how to get into the vehicle.

Kinda. I got tired of doing the coathanger trick for customers..I bought a Matco door unlock kit. Its got an airbag you put inbetween the door and the body, inflate it and reach in with the bar that comes with it and unlocks the door. Very well worth the price.

Well actually I think one of my Benchmades has a glass breaker on the end. But honestly, I really do have a hammer in my purse sometimes. It's for work.

All you need is a coat hanger and a multi-tool to bend it correctly and you can get in through the door easily. No bending the door out or anything.

The 83 pickup is even easier to get into.

Forget the hammer, too noisy. A little piece of porcelin from a broken spark plug will do the job quietly. :anonymous:

toyota has in the past (had a 93 pickup) put a protective box and coverings on the linkages in the door so slim jim wont cut it on yotas.or most imports. also just pulling the handle didn't unlock the door like a ford. you have to go thru the door jam and fish the keys out if theyre man locks.. but he has a back window, easy to brake into if left stock.

Quicker to get it through driver or passenger door. Doesn't matter what boxes they have in there. Your not going any where near them to open the door. It would take me less than 10 seconds to get into my 2000 taco when I locked the keys in it.
