Ok, pulled some canoes to the river. When I got back to truck power windows, instrument panel, and a/c would not work. Battery light was on. Checked alternator and it was bad. Replaced the alternator. Still no power windows, AC, or instrument panel. I suspect something went wrong when I tried to start up with the very old trailer light cable attached. All fuses are fine but the ones on the left side do not show any voltage, but they are not blown. The AC fuse shows proper voltage and is good. I am weak on electrical issues and hope one of you may know what to check next.

I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
the only thing that comes to mind, what about your battery, reread your post to be sure, but have you tested your battery? it could have died also.
