I'm assuming you mean pads and rotors, not pads and calipers?

Here's a thread on pad change:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/38025-diy-front-brake-pad-change.html

To change the rotors, you'll need to remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper in place, then you'll notice that the OEM rotors have 2 threaded holes in them, those are jacking points. Get a bolt that fits those holes and start cranking evenly on each one til the old rotor pops off. When you put the new rotor in place, put a healthy amount of neverseize behind the rotor to prevent it from rusting to the hub.

I believe you have them turned but the price of new is so close to the cost of having them turned that it's not cost effective.

If you go to Autozone, their pads have a lifetime warranty on them. Yes, lifetime warranty on a wear part. I purchased new pads and rotors from them and it cost me about $150ish.

I have never had that much luck with turning the rotors. I just buy new ones to go with my new brake pads. I did mine the other weekend.

To remove the rotors you could use a M8 bolt in the threaded holes (OEM rotors only) or just use a big rubber mallet and loosen them up (which is what I did).
